In October 2019 a procedure was conducted for the merger of Industrial Zone Svilengrad with all its assets into Industrial Sites and Warehouses PLC.
Industrial Zone Svilengrad has a strategic geographical position on two country borders - 1 km from Greece and 14 km from Turkey.
Proximity to the port of Alexandroupolis and to the railway lines Sofia - Plovdiv - Svilengrad - Istanbul and Svilengrad - Dikaia - Alexandroupolis.
The zone has a total floor area of 70,166 sq.m.
It comprises storage halls and administrative premises with a total built-up area of 4,370 sq.m.
The size of the storage and production halls varies between 432 sq.m and 720 sq.m and part of them merged into larger premises.
The zone has:
Open terrains with an approximate area of 35,000 sq.m suitable for the implementation of investment projects; Oil station and adjacent areas – 3,750 sq.m; Café-restaurant with an area of 162 sq.m; Two parking lots – a 2,891 sq.m open one and a closed one for 14 cars.
The guiding vision for Svilengrad site is to turn it into a modern complex of production storage halls and facilities for ancillary activities, which is attractive for both national and international investors, including for logistics companies.
The chief potential of the site in Svilengrad is its formation and strengthening as a key logistics centre in that part of Bulgaria.
