The main characteristic of the project is its focus on conducting research and innovation in the field of sustainable use of bioresources and waste from medicinal and aromatic plants for innovative bioactive products, aimed at promoting knowledge and technology transfer from scientific institutions to the economy and industry; applying new technologies in different sectors of society; fostering collaboration between scientific communities and innovation institutions from different countries and regions; promoting mobility of promoting the mobility of researchers and innovators in the EU and providing opportunities for talent development and increasing investment in research and innovation. The Centre operates at national level. In the next period, we aim to internationalise it. A specialised unit for technology transfer and commercialisation of research results is being established, which is expected to bring the Centre closer to the business sector and contribute to the applied orientation of research.
