The project proposal is for the creation of a Center of Competence with a unique organizational structure for research and development activity with an exceptional scientific infrastructure to provide applied products and services for research and development activity in the regions of Bulgaria. The project partners cover the regions of Bulgaria to implement the regional policy for digital transformation of the main economic areas with big data, ensuring national coverage of R&D needs in this area. The project's scope covers national work programs, regional work programs, and dissemination and education. The project focuses on the development of Strategic and applied approaches for the implementation of Digitization of business processes with the application of Big Data, as well as the development of Socio-Economic, institutional, and political values in this scientific field. The strategic approach covers actors, possible R&D outcomes, and international and national political strategic outcomes. According to socio-economic values, the project will create opportunities for new jobs, offer ways to improve productivity, and improve the overall quality of life of companies in the Bulgarian regions and at the national level. According to institutional values, we will enable the private sector to invest in digital infrastructure, develop new products and services, and collaborate with other stakeholders to drive innovation.
